2Cana Solutions - BizSmartz

BizSmartz is a bundled solution, consisting of hardware (HP), software (Oracle) and development services. It provides a data warehouse, ETL (extract-transform-load) tool, digital dashboard and analysis services.

Consolidate

Multiple sources of data may be consolidated into one repository. Sources include local or remote Oracle databases, ODBC compliant databases (e.g. SQL Server, DB2) or flat text files.

Empower

Using the included Warehouse Designer, data source entities may be mapped to destination entities. Data may be transformed in a number of ways including field names, number and date formats or even by using Oracle stored procedures. Data retrieval may be optimised utilising standard Oracle performance mechanisms (indexes).

Thanks to the Oracle pedigree, the database is self-tuning and self-monitoring. A web-based GUI environment is provided as part of the package, which may be configured to email you at the first sign of any trouble with the database.

Enable

Business executives want information at their fingertips. BizSmartz provides a “digital dashboard” with data and charts to track key performance indicators.

This may be tailored to customer requirements and refreshed at required intervals.

Understand

Reporting and analysis completes the product offering. Data may be analysed beyond the dashboard using Oracle Discoverer.
