POSperfect is the POS and Branch Back Office system. It is written in Delphi and the latest versions use an Interbase or Firebird database through the InterBase Objects Database engine. The principle design criteria was that “The POS Terminals must not depend on a Server or Network to process sales” and that “Online/Offline transitions must be seamless”. The system maintains a mission critical database on every terminal so that the POS functions are not server dependent. POSperfect also provides a MSC that manages a WAN or a DUN with multiple stores. Updates and data retrieval into the Multi-Store Controller system is seamless and automatic.

- Base Sales Module

This module is designed to control the debt raised by buying stock to resell. Invoices and credit notes can be created automatically by document posting from the Inventory module.

This module allows you to create a special discount structure for individual customers or types (groups) of customers.

- General Ledger
The General Ledger module is designed to translate all relevant trading data from the POSperfect system into a pre-defined set of accounts specified by the user or their financial advisor.

- Multi Store
This module is designed to allow you to gather trading information from several stores into a single viewing point.

- Accounting Interface
The Accounting Interface module is designed to translate all relevant data from the POSperfect system into a format and categories required by a particular proprietary Accounting package.
