At the heart of Barcellos’s laundry software is the Global Workwear™ Garment Tracking software. Whether your needs are straight forward - recording garments on rental and invoicing them on regular basis or a total bar-code or transponder based tracking system with full send-in history and automated purchase ordering with stock control movement history, it has everything you need. It holds information on every single wearer and garment; - even down to the number of repairs each has had, as well as the cost of those repairs. Details of its age, residual value, washes, its last scanning dates - all this information is at your fingertips.

It provides almost instant displays of any wearer, and when adding a new wearer shows which lockers are available for use. All relevant garment details can be easily displayed. It takes just a click of mouse to drill down and see when the highlighted garment was last sent in for processing. This information can also be displayed in graph format at the push of a button, or exported to Microsoft Excel for further processing.

It is supplied complete with a suite of comprehensive enquiries and reports, designed to fulfill the needs of laundry staff, laundry management and laundry clients. Billing options enable a choice of weekly, periodic or calendar month billing, this being set at contract level. Over the years, Global Workwear™ has been continuously developed in line with market requirements, enabling its users to monitor and control all aspects of Workwear Rental.

Optional Modules

Sales Analysis : This module collects invoice data from all the other Global modules. Statistics are kept for each period, and include the revenue earned; pieces processed; theoretical maximum pieces that could have been processed; plus a process cost.

Purchase Ordering : This software provides an automatic link between the wearer and garment software and the stock system.

Replacement Garment (RPG) : This module does exactly that, and more besides! A garment can be flagged for replacement at any time and the replacement either provided from existing stock, or placed on a PO (JIT).

Size Exchanges : It is no longer a problem with the RPG software. Instead of replacing a single garment, the option taken is to declare a size exchange.

Route Manager : This module enables the Transport Department to easily reschedule each route, and add or remove contracts from it.

Customer Action Note (C.A.N.) : This software provides a solution to the problems of tracking back to source documents when queries are raised in connection with garment rental.

Garment History : This module is mostly used by laundries who supply to food trade customers, where there may be a need for stringent record keeping of each process garment is subjected to.

Sundry Invoices / Credits : Although Global Workwear generates rental invoices and end of month laundry charges, occasionally the need arises to produce a sundry invoice for direct sales, or to accept data from the Non-Garment C.A.N. module and the Domestic Linen option.

Invoice Line Database : It was originally designed to enable customers to reprint a work wear or linen invoice on plain paper.
