AutoSoft is a division of Auto Computers which was founded in Port Elizabeth in June 1992. The company's principal activities are software development, sales, installation and maintenance of computerized point of sale systems and their peripheral devices.
Their expertise covers all aspects of software development, equipment selection to installation, commissioning, training and maintenance. They source their equipment from reputable suppliers who are committed to supporting their products. They are based in Port Elizabeth and are currently setting up a dealer network across South Africa.
Installations
Hardware
They have been involved with the computerization of all BP service stations and also other petrol companies over the past 6 years. As a result they have the equipment and the experience for work on all PC related systems in all industries. Through their working on the BP project they have gained experience in installation of PC's, printers, pump interfaces, attendant tagging systems, RF tagging systems (Fuel master), banking software, Card readers and Point of Sale Systems.
Software
Their experience includes installation, commissioning and training of custom software packages. Development of custom Windows applications using the latest development tools (Delphi Version 7). The revolutionary AutoPOS point of sale system has made a name for it in Western/Eastern/Border regions (South Africa) and continues to grow.
Maintenance and Support
They have built up a sound relationship with their customers. They are confident that, when there is a problem, they will always be there for help and support. They have the necessary diagnostic equipment to solve problems quickly and effectively. They have been responsible for maintaining the WAN of all the BP Forecourt Systems in the Eastern Cape and have built up a satisfied client base.

Their client base covers well known names in the petrol and other industries. To name a few - BPSA, Caltex, Engen, Total, Prowalco. They also have a wide range of smaller clients that they service.
