Fabric Roll Allocation

CutPlan calculates which lengths of fabric to bring to the cutting table for an apparel cut. Out of all the piece goods available for a cut, it will select those pieces that result in the least end loss and width loss, and tell you exactly where to lay them and how to cut them in order to achieve those savings. It looks at all possible spreads for a cut order using the piece goods currently in inventory and prepares a pick list. A less involved version of fabric allocation is also available, called "width control". At the time of creating a solution, the user enters the total yards available by width and it will create a solution minimizing width loss.

MU Report - Materials Utilization Reporting

CutPlan’s MU Report module incorporates material utilization reporting that helps maintain realistic material per unit estimations for each product/style. It enhances costing, cut order planning, and material supply planning with accurate yards/meters per unit data. Actual material usage results are easily compared to the planed to reveal waste on a cut order, style, or plant basis. It provides visibility into how material is being utilized at your outside supplier locations, and which practices may be reducing margin.
